Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Process Technician for Injection Molding to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining ENGEL Injection Molding machines, ensuring the production of high-quality plastic components. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Operate injection molding machines according to established procedures and specifications. Monitor production processes, making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards. Utilize hand tools and machinery and being comfortable in a production environment on the shop-floor. Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste in the production process. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize production workflows. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Document production data accurately for quality assurance purposes. Work on projects to further optimize our processes, highlight potential improvement areas and make it future proof.

Experience

+5years in injection molding or a related manufacturing environment is preferred. Proficiency with hand tools and basic machining techniques is essential. Familiarity with safety circuits on machines is a plus. Basic math skills are required for measuring and calculating dimensions during production tasks. Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment is advantageous but not mandatory. Experience working with PVC, CPVC, ABS and other types of Plastics. Track record of problem solving and hands on work mentality.
