Location: Nova Scotia, Canada
Description:
This person will be cultivating a culture of continuous improvement at this site. Carrying out data analysis and working with the engineering staff to improve the production and safety processes. For a more veteran engineer this role will be on the senior management staff at this site and for a younger engineer this role is a direct path to an engineering or safety manager position 2-3 years down the line. My client is offering a generous compensation package with full relocation assistance.
About the Company:
This is forward looking, sustainability focused nutrition company that is developing new technology to expand their production facilities. The facility this position will be at produces ingredients for dietary supplements and is operating at full capacity with a production level that has 20% in recent years with plans for additional expansions.
Requirements:
- B.S. Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
- 3+ years' experience out of manufacturing
- Food, Pharmaceutical, chemical, or packaging manufacturing is ideal
- Six Sigma Green Belt is highly desirable
- Good communication and leadership skills are required
