With this in mind, we are looking for a Process Excellence Lead.

This role will provide the opportunity to lead key activities including: the mapping and implementation of process excellence initiatives that will enable processes in Takeda Canada to be simpler, innovative and faster. As Process Excellence Lead, you will support the achievement of company objectives by designing a framework of optimal Operational Excellence that keeps a mindset of consistent continuous improvement at the forefront.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overall direction and oversight of all continuous improvement initiatives, framework, tools, resources and methodology
  • Lead operational transformation projects that result in efficiency improvements and customer satisfaction
  • Gather and analyze data on internal business processes, formulate and test hypotheses including KPIs to assess process efficiency, synthesize findings, develop go-forward plans and help drive and translate recommendations into results
  • Collaborate with business leaders across all functions to improve processes, minimize complexities and optimize effective operations
  • Plan and inform on continuous process improvement initiatives by delivering reports to manage risks and issues and improve team communication and collaboration
  • Effectively communicate identified improvements and make them accessible throughout the company
  • Proactively engage business leaders, including creating champions to promote continuous improvement and change management.
  • Point of contact for global process excellence initiatives including representing Canadian needs
  • Implement engagement review and quality assurance procedures in accordance with agreed methodology across the continuous improvement initiatives within the LOC
  • Apply specific Process streamlining methodologies (Lean Six Sigma etc.) to drive process improvement initiatives.
  • Identify inefficiencies and root causes throughout the organization and propose various solutions, including possible automations / robotizations
Education, Experience & Skills:
  • University Degree Completion
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Strong experience in operational process improvement/design with cross-functional engagement
  • A minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience to scope broad and complex issues
  • Ability to drive consensus across highly cross-functional teams through teamwork, relationship-building, and leading through influence and without formal line authority
  • Experience leading process simplification and standardization initiatives in global complex organizations
  • Demonstrated mastery of continuous improvement competency principles and practices, e.g. System diagnostics and value stream mapping
  • Problem solving skills, with experience in developing advance models and analyzing business
  • Ability to analyze data, extract quantitative insights and build high level business cases using Excel
  • Interpersonal and influencing skills, being able to manage diverse relations and work with peers
  • Strong communication skills and team-player able to collaborate effectively
  • Exceptional communication skills including coordination skills, facilitation, good personal presentation, oral and written communication skills
  • Highly capable of \xe2\x80\x9cStructured Listening\xe2\x80\x9d \xe2\x80\x93 grasping the critical essence of the operation \xe2\x80\x93 connecting the dots from unstructured information
  • Strong execution skill set and disciplined approach to execute programs.
  • Proven ability to deliver results in a complex /global environment
  • Advanced knowledge of process methodologies such as Six Sigma and Lean, and demonstrated ability to pragmatically apply these in a non-IT/non-manufacturing environment.
  • Expert knowledge of Agile principles and Lean process re-engineering techniques
  • A self-starter, driven and able to work in a fast pace changing environment with a high level of result orientation
  • Ideally some knowledge of Canadian Pharmaceutical market dynamics, healthcare policy, payer mind-set and sales & marketing principles.
  • High level presentation skills underpinned by, but not exclusively relying on great PowerPoint and Excel skills
