Located in Sylvan Lake, Meadowlands Golf Club is a well-established public golf course known for its friendly atmosphere, beautifully maintained course, and exceptional guest experience. With recent capital improvements and more exciting projects planned for 2026, Meadowlands is entering an exciting new chapter -- and we're looking for a dedicated Pro Shop Manager to join our leadership team.

Position Overview

The Pro Shop Manager will oversee the daily operations of the golf shop and help ensure an exceptional experience for all members and guests. This hands-on role requires excellent leadership, organization, and customer service skills, as well as a passion for golf. The Pro Shop Manager will work closely with the General Manager/Superintendent and Food & Beverage Manager to maintain a high level of professionalism and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily Pro Shop operations, including opening/closing, cash handling, and tee sheet management. Provide exceptional customer service to members, guests, and tournament participants. Manage retail sales, including product selection, merchandising, inventory control, and supplier relations. Coordinate with the General Manager/Superintendent on leagues and tournaments. Assist with marketing initiatives, including social media updates, promotional events, and member communications. Train, schedule, and supervise Pro Shop staff, ensuring a positive and efficient work environment. Maintain a high level of professionalism and ensure compliance with all club policies and procedures. Assist in developing and implementing operational policies and seasonal budgets.

Qualifications & Experience

Previous experience in golf operations or retail management (minimum 2 years preferred). Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of golf shop operations, POS systems, and tee sheet software (GolfNow). Proven ability to manage staff scheduling, training, and performance. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays. A passion for the game of golf and familiarity with the golf industry.
