Job Description

We make customized books. The work is production work, and includes the large variety of tasks that go into making customized books.

The work includes, in production sequence, printing, trimming paper, sorting all the printed pages, punching holes for different binding types, assembling books, binding pages, gluing pages, adding accessories, verifying the quality of each book and packaging the finished product. The work also includes making boxes, as well as accessories and other inputs required for manufacturing the books.

IS THIS YOU?

- Enjoy working with your hands;

- Have a background working in a print shop or copy-center, or if not, experience with production and hands-on applied work related to artistic or artisanal work or theatre backstage experience;

- Have a good eye for colours;

- Enjoy working with small mechanical machines and tools;

- Self-managing

- Would prefer a job with no customer contact;

- Comfortable standing for long periods;

A mix of the production tasks listed above that changes daily depending on what needs to be done.
