We are now looking for a Principal who will play a key leadership role as a member of both the instructional and school operations leadership Teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and improving programs and initiatives to instill the school values and visions within the students. The individual will be an experienced, passionate, and exemplary educator with demonstrated leadership qualities. The Principal will work collaboratively as part of an administrative team to promote a culture that fosters learning, inquiry and engagement. Qualifications: \xc2\xb7 A Masters degree in educational administration/leadership or a related discipline, such as curriculum development and/or implementation, will be considered a strong asset \xc2\xb7 Minimum 7 years teaching experience (K-12) \xc2\xb7 Demonstrated ability to support students, consult with parents, and work collaboratively with staff and community agencies \xc2\xb7 Demonstrated ability to be collaborative and inquiry minded to improve learning experiences (academic, social and emotional) for students at all levels \xc2\xb7 Effective organizational, conflict resolution, interpersonal and communication skills. \xc2\xb7 High level of initiative, energy, and motivation \xc2\xb7 Proactive and innovative approach to solving problems \xc2\xb7 Thorough understanding of independent school culture \xc2\xb7 Sound knowledge of BC curriculum, assessment and research and ability to lead effective teaching practices \xc2\xb7 Administrative experience, preferably in an independent school setting, will be considered an asset \xc2\xb7 Counselling experience or education will be an asset \xc2\xb7 Strong technology literacy and demonstrated ability in its application for instructional and administrative purposes as well as social media marketing will be an asset. The candidate must possess current valid professional certificate of qualification issued by Teacher Regulation Branch of Ministry of Education, BC Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $75,000.00-$110,000.00 per year Benefits:
