Chinook\xe2\x80\x99s Edge School Division invites applications from qualified individuals for the position of Principal at Hugh Sutherland School (Grades 5-12 with approximately 735 students), effective the 2023-2024 school year. The successful candidate will be a pedagogical leader who possesses excellent interpersonal skills, a proven record of excellence in teaching at the secondary level, evidence of success in leading and encouraging professional learning, demonstrated abilities to work with a wide-range of community agencies, and a willingness to be involved in the extracurricular activities of the school. Administrative duties will include an active role in instructional leadership and shared responsibility for all aspects of administration. Preference will be given to candidates with experience as a school-based administrator, and those who have completed or are working toward a Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Education.
