Connaught Elementary School

Connaught School is a Pre-Kindergarten \xe2\x80\x93 Grade 6 school with an approximate enrolment of 155 students, 11 FTE professional staff and 15 support staff. Connaught School\xe2\x80\x93Permanent Full Time 1.0 (FTE) Vice-Principal commencing July 1, 2023. The Vice-Principal assignment will include 80% teaching time and 20% Administration time.

The successful candidate will possess dynamic leadership skills, be able to work effectively with students, staff and other administrators and will demonstrate a desire to advance his/her leadership through a higher level of education and leadership experiences. Living Sky School Division believes that school-based administrators play key roles in student success. It will be important for candidates to be able to:

• Lead Learning (Instructional Leadership),
• Set Vision and Provide Direction,
• Secure Caring and Respectful Schools,
• Develop People and Build Relationships, and
• Strengthen the Educational Community (through working with parents and other agencies).

Candidates are required to possess a master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Educational Administration or related discipline or be committed to completing post-graduate studies in an applicable field. Experience in areas of Indigenous Education would be considered an asset. Additionally, they must possess a valid Saskatchewan Teaching Certificate.
