In this role, you will use your experience in software and consumer electronics to drive growth within the account, enhance current business, secure premium placement and grow our overall share and presence. You will create and execute compelling promotional opportunities to increase revenue and market share. You will be expected to manage your accounts with a sense of purpose and urgency.Your mission is to use your knowledge of software, consumer electronics and the overall partner channel to leverage every advantage these key accounts can offer to NortonLifeLock. Whether it be improved placement and visibility on etailer sites, software integration strategies, category development, customer outreach, promotional events or a combination of these, you\xe2\x80\x99ll find every available way to drive growth through our retail partners.Responsibilities:

  • The primary point of contact for the management and strategy of our retail channel accounts with a focus on driving sales performance through those partners\' key initiatives.
  • Create, develop, and maintain relationships with key decision makers at our retail partners; with a focus on strategic, high-level executive contacts.
  • Develop a consultative sales relationship with retail partners and provide thought leadership in selling and growing security and digital safety.
  • Drive line reviews, joint business planning, quarterly business reviews and supply chain processes.
  • Assess market conditions, define the appropriate marketing campaigns/initiatives and drive execution, often in partnership with channel programs, marketing communications, finance, product marketing and sales.
  • Create and execute channel goals, strategies, tactics, and annual sales plan leveraging internal resources to maximize sales growth.
  • Develop Key Performance Indicators for success in our retail channel, track them regularly and communicate them to key stakeholders often. Know what success looks like and measure progress frequently.
  • Bring customer insights and relevant market intelligence back to internal cross-functional teams.
  • Stay informed of competitive activity in the retail space and the overall channel, and know how our products are performing in all your accounts.
  • Provide accurate and timely forecasting inputs to the Operational and Finance teams.
  • Respond to internal requests for customer performance and sales progress quickly and accurately.
  • Build robust internal presentations to communicate strategies and partner considerations to key stakeholders including financial analysis, customer insights and category trends and crafting a narrative that concisely and compellingly explains key messages.
  • Meet with your accounts, attend trade shows, partner training events, etc.
  • Maintain advertising planning schedules that create positive net bookings, drive quarterly marketing plans, translate high-level objectives into workable tactics, program forecasting and ROI analysis, and assess and measure marketing campaign effectiveness.
  • Create and approve in-store point-of-sale material and plan-o-grams with customer messaging, and create customized SKUs and product bundles.
  • Manage marketing operation activities including MDF compliance tracking, invoicing and partner payments.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to lead, coach, and influence those around you to perform and achieve results in line with department strategy and goals.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence across a matrixed organization and with a complex retail customer.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making and quantitative analysis skills to provide insights into performance and efficiency opportunities.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills to build relationships and collaboration across different departments.
  • Previous experience with presenting presentations to groups, senior management, etc. is required.
  • Self-starter and driven personality, able to understand account level P&L, ROI and how they fit with department and corporate objectives.
  • Sales and relationship-building experience with a mix of account management, marketing strategy, and new business development skills.
  • Experienced with new product launches.
  • Capability of communicating to all levels of the organization, both internally and in customer organizations.
  • Strong presentation building and delivery skills using programs like MS PowerPoint or other widely used presentation tools.
  • Strong analytical skills to determine customer account profitability and propose activities that balance strong growth with improving profitability.
  • Demonstrated time management skills as it relates to account management and internal collaboration.
  • Expertise in budgeting and forecasting.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience selling security and identity theft protection products to etail accounts.
  • Strong understanding of, and ability to demonstrate, computer apps, smart phones, tablet computers, either in an iOS, Android or PC platform.
  • Proficient with Salesforce.com.
