Job Description


Primarily in charge of pricing operational functions and corporate grapes reports. Administer activities of the daily operational sales support functions within the department. Additionally, responsible for customer accounts receivables, tracking and communicating both internally and externally. Utilizes appropriate tools and software to ensure sales and operational issues meet targeted goals. Works with VP and Sales Managers on various product management and sales projects.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION

  • Primary job function is to pursue, track and update all information from USDA office to sourcing entities and compile data needed to accurately liquidate
  • Create and distribute biweekly grapes report required by corporate.
  • Customer Service
  • Daily communications both written and orally with Dole Diversified NA. customers
  • Order Administration
  • I-Trade, Retail Link Order edits and date changes
  • Famous order entry
  • Freight cost entry into Famous, and verification post-shipment
  • Invoice/Pricing verification on orders prior to shipping
  • Delivery verification on orders
  • Allowance processing, administration, support, and interaction with West Coast
  • Create and process Customs forms and documents for Goods exported to Canada
  • Product Resolution
  • Be directly responsible for ensuring that both the Sales Team and Administrative Team are actively clearing and managing all allowances and rejections in accordance with the establish internal practices.
  • Maintenance of local allowance records and documentation
  • Finalization of settlements on rejected orders files with third party diversions
  • Maintenance of the Allowance log and verification of accuracy
  • Departmental phone support
  • Cross functional coverage for other sales staff \xe2\x80\x93 Weekend on Call
  • Follow all Food Safety Requirements and Good manufacturing Practices as applicable to this position
  • Expectation of timeliness, professionalism, and accuracy.
  • Provides feedback to VP of Sales on needs and opportunities.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills

JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skill And Experience Requirements)
  • 3 - 5 years overall experience in a fast paced environment.
  • Agriculture and / or produce experience helpful.
  • Strong PC, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Point and/or similar BI platform systems knowledge. Famous experience a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Independent judgement which effects customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to stay focused on accuracy and detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and able to perform in a high-pressure environment. Must be able to foster an environment of Teamwork and Leadership within the Sales team in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to manage long-distance professional relationships, and to accept constructive criticism.
  • Knowledge of GAAP is helpful. Strong computer, analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills. High attention to details and accuracy.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

Minimum: Two year degree preferred and/or High School diploma or equivalent.

Required Experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to use phone, computer, and other basic office equipment.
  • Ability to be stationary and sit for long periods of time, climb stairs, stoop, bend, and lift up to 15 lbs.
WORK HOUR REQUIREMENT
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, rotating shifts required.
  • Work extended hours and some weekends as required by customers.
