YOUR ROLE

Do you have the eye of a bold eagle, the concentration of a hunting lioness, the social skills to work and communicate with a team? Well, you may be the Procurement Manager for our Ground + Rail Product, we are looking for!

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Assume co-responsibility in achieving the total Ground saving targets within CEVA Canada.
Identifying and managing the relationship with the country and Region, Ground+Rail suppliers, contracts including negotiating terms and conditions, maintaing SRM (Supplier Relationship Management)
Drive Ground Procurement projects within CEVA Canada for all sites, as well help them negotiating.
Actively engage all business lines within CEVA as one Ground+Rail Product(FM, CL, and Ground) in Procurement requests and engagements.
Actively use and promote usage of CEVA\xe2\x80\x99s E sourcing module for Tenders
Make sure Tenders for Ground+Rail are being done accross region and that any EBITDA or Cost Avoidance opportunities are identified, using Esourcing solution Freightender and other platforms / Supporting and advising on potential improvements, analysis etc.
Work with operations to resolve carrier issues.
Analyze Costs/Lanes to provide best routing options for all Lane parings for Transborder and Domestic Canada freight both FTL and LTL options
Complete annual supplier evaluations for top Ground+Rail Transport suppliers.
Make sure following and supplying a clear SRM, so visible Supplier meetings, timings, categorizations etc., involvement required, stakeholders
Track and report procurement operating and EBITDA metrics for the Category Ground +Rail Procurement in close liaison with the Regional Ground Sourcing teams.
Take part and prepare for Monthly meetings with Region heads, as well as those involving GHO and that Presentations are done looking at monthly results, open projects,any issues or gaps, so can work together to address, clear Agenda.
Support networking between the sites and with other countries in the Region, in order to create more efficiencies, opportunities for growth
Support with capacity mix, highlighting fleet needs, Make vs Buy decisions

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

At least 5-10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Ground Procurement (Preferably within Country, Region) either on Shipper side or with a 3PL / 4PL player
Excellent numerical and analytical skills
Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
Highly motivated and no 9-5 mentality
Ability to work under pressure in a high demanding environment
Results oriented and accurate
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Pragmatic, hands-on , pro-active mentality
Fast learner
Innovative thinker (curious to find new solutions)
Ability to work in a dynamic environment, a self-starter with high success drive.
Team player
Fluency in spoken and written English
Culturally sensitive
Ability to communicate with colleagues at different levels throughout the organization
