Preventative Maintenance Level 1 Technician
at our
Gander
location. Our busy, team-oriented shops place a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction. The service department is an important area of our business, ensuring that our equipment is ready and available, as well as maintaining a flow of information on that equipment for both the rental staff and the sales staff. Our service technicians are critical to the success of our customer relationships.

$21.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Majority of duties will be cleaning, washing and inspection of our rental construction equipment;
Complete quality assurance inspections on equipment; Ensuring all equipment is in clean working condition with all appropriate components.
Testing and operation of construction equipment, including, but not limited to, assessment of damages;
Perform preventative maintenance on construction equipment, including, but not limited to, maintaining and servicing rental equipment, oil and filter changes;
Complete required documentation and data entry;
Maintaining cleanliness and organization of work area, shop and branch;
Load and unload customer rental equipment when required;
Maintain a safe working environment;
Assisting other technicians as needed;
Follow all Health and Safety policies, while maintaining a safe work environment;
Other duties as assigned.
Key Qualifications:
Forklift operation experience
Knowledge of construction equipment and mechanics;
Ability to use various computer devices (Scanners, laptops etc.)
Technical aptitude and organization skills are preferred.
Must be fully licensed (G Class).
