Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in operating press brake machinery to fabricate metal components according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, precision, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Operate and set up press brake machines to bend and shape metal parts as per engineering drawings and specifications. Perform routine maintenance on press brake equipment to ensure optimal performance. Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring they meet specified tolerances and standards. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues and improve processes. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Utilize various tools such as calipers, CNC machines, and plasma cutting equipment as needed for fabrication tasks.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand blueprints and technical drawings. Experience with welding techniques is advantageous. Familiarity with laser cutting processes is a plus. Proficient in operating forklifts for material handling. Ability to use calipers for precise measurements. Experience with lathe operations is beneficial. Knowledge of plasma cutting techniques is preferred. Competence in CNC machining processes is desirable. Skills in fabricating metal components from raw materials are essential.
