Brake Press Operator

Full-time, Permanent positions available.

Day shift only! Standard hours are Monday - Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm; Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm

Duties & Responsibilities:

Receive plasma and laser cut flat parts to the brake press area and prepare for forming.

Read and interpret drawings for proper forming of components

Complete quality inspections on parts using a caliper and a height gauge.

Safely operate the brake press and complete tooling changes

Prepare and clean parts as required for fabrication and assembly

Efficiently stack and label parts on pallets

Other duties as required

Qualifications & Requirements:

Completion of High School

Completion of College or other vocational training would be considered an asset.

Experience in a manufacturing environment is considered an asset

Strong Mechanical aptitude

Ability to read mechanical drawings and manuals

Attention to detail in all areas of work

Safety Conscious

Ability to lift up to 75lbs

Ability to read tape measure (metric/imperial)

Must be able to take direction comfortably, able to multi-task and manage time efficiently
