R.I.C. MetalWerx Inc. is a metal fabrication shop located in Chilliwack, BC. We offer cutting, bending, pemming and welding services for customers in the valley and Greater Vancouver area. We're looking for a Press Brake Operator to join our dynamic team.
Job responsibilities:
Set-up and Operation of CNC Press Brakes Perform measurements and math calculations to determine the correct tools and angles to bend parts Demonstrate math skills to ensure items are designed and built up to customer and internal requirements Read and interpret technical drawings Measuring parts using a variety of tools and ensuring all parts meet quality requirements. Ad hoc duties as required
Qualifications and skills:
3+ years working as a machine operator operating the press brake, laser, punch press Basic math skills and functional literacy in reading, writing and calculation is required Ability to check and measure parts to ensure accuracy and precision Experience operating hand and power tools Able to read blueprints Able to lift 50 lbs
Shift: 7:00AM - 3:30PM, M-F
