Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining press brake machines to produce high-quality metal components according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints effectively.

Responsibilities

Operate press brake machines to bend and shape metal components as per design specifications. Set up and adjust machines for optimal performance and accuracy. Perform quality inspections on finished products to ensure they meet required standards. Collaborate with team members to assemble parts and complete projects efficiently. Utilize hand tools and measuring instruments such as calipers to ensure precision in machining tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Assist in the operation of additional machinery, including CNC laser cutting, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, plasma cutting equipment, and welding tools as needed. Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and report any malfunctions or issues promptly.

Skills

Proficient in operating press brake machines with a strong understanding of CNC programming. Experience with crane and forklift operation is preferred. Familiarity with various manufacturing processes, including machining and assembly techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment problems effectively. Excellent blueprint reading skills to interpret technical drawings accurately. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks. Ability to perform quality inspections and ensure adherence to manufacturing standards. Experience using hand tools and measuring devices such as calipers is essential.
