Summary

Blue Water Group is looking for an experienced Preservation Coordinator at out facility located at

33 Hops Street in CBS.

This position requires a detailed awareness of preservation standards including mechanical, technology, coatings & packaging. In addition a complete understanding of the material, how it is used and what constraints the material has to be serviced, commissioned and installed.

Responsibilities

Maintain and preserve complex equipment and systems that have differentiated or multi-step, multi-decision making that may include assessing severity of damage, usability pre and post preservation actions. return materials to desired condition using mitigation products and methods (excluding engineering or machining). design and execute preservation area preservation improvements for all materials within care including turbomachinery, capital and safety equipment. Responsible to ensure material traceability throughout chain of custody Coordinate material preservation activity Accurately account for material and equipment in an appropriate database Continuous tracing of order status and timely reporting of results Ensure that Vendors have preservation plans in place for each package prior to equipment arrival at warehouse Control of the proper storage of the materials received by the Contractor Monitors Preservation programs and ensures proper documentation and close out of work orders.

Qualifications include:

Post Secondary education, preferably in Engineering Technology/Millwright Minimum 4-5 years experience in material handling / warehousing operations. Demonstrate knowledge and expertise in materials to be preserved, their function during operations and critical influences preservation has on their operations. Deep knowledge/competency in preservation activities Ability to maintain and preserve complex equipment and systems Ability to differentiate multi-step preservation methods Knowledge of material usability pre and post preservation actions. Ability to restore materials to proper condition using mitigation products and methods Ability to design and execute preservation area preservation improvements QA/QC awareness and understanding
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
