Pre-Press Technician (Sheetfed, Large Format, & Labels)

Impactica -- On-site, 7111 68 Ave NW, Edmonton

We're Impactica, a busy southside print shop that runs on teamwork, caffeine, and clean files. We're hiring a Pre-Press Technician to keep our presses fed and our colour on point.

What you'll do

Prepare digital files for print production across sheetfed and large-format workflows Perform artwork amendments, preflight, and file cleanup Build impositions for multiple machines and product types Create/adjust cut paths and dielines Manage colour (profiles, conversions, spot handling) to spec Light, occasional design tweaks as needed -- this is

What you bring

Positive, team-driven attitude (we like people who make the room better) Previous pre-press experience in a commercial print environment Fluency in

Adobe Creative Suite

(Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) Comfort working in various colour spaces and doing imposition work Nice-to-have: hands-on experience in print shop production/manufacturing

Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

Compensation:

Pay negotiable based on experience
