Job Summary:

We're looking for a detail-oriented and dedicated

Prepress Technician

to join our team! In this role, you'll be essential to ensuring that customer artwork is production-ready, supporting quality and efficiency across litho, flexo, and digital printing. If you have a passion for precision, a knack for quality control, and thrive in a collaborative environment, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Review and Pre-flight Artwork

: Check customer-provided files for quality and printability on various presses.

Prepare Files for Production

: Create proofs and production files, making any customer-requested changes.

Build Templates and Layouts

: Develop art templates, dielines, and layouts for lithographic printing.

Quality Control

: Conduct manual and electronic quality checks using tools like Esko Viewer and Global Vision.

Manage Workload

: Self-manage priorities, balancing proofs and production work to meet press schedules.

Communicate with Customers

: Work closely with internal teams and external customers to resolve any file issues, missing files, or adjustments needed to meet production standards.

Adhere to Standards and Policies

: Follow all departmental SOPs, company GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), safety rules, and attendance policies to maintain a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment.

What We're Looking For:

Technical Skills

: Experience with Esko workflows, color software like GMG, and imposition programs; solid understanding of Mac OS (PC knowledge is a bonus).

File Management

: Comfortable with Dropbox, WeTransfer, Google Drive, FTP, and other file transfer methods.

Math Skills

: Ability to handle basic math functions

Organization and Time Management

: Highly organized and able to work efficiently under tight schedules.

Great to Have

: Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry standards, experience with color management, and knowledge of file formats for both Mac and PC are all great to have!
