We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook/Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role involves both meal preparation and dishwashing duties, ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menu specifications. Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment. Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations. Help with inventory management by keeping track of food supplies and notifying management when stock is low. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during busy periods. Follow proper sanitation procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is essential. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. Willingness to learn new cooking techniques and improve meal preparation skills. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed.
