KITCHEN HELPER/PREP COOK
JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a candidate that is passionate about quality and service. This person is reliable, organized, a multi-tasking team player, with excellent attention to all the details. This role reports to the Store Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Meet the Small Victory Bakery's quality and consistency standards for all brunch and lunch menu items.
2. Assemble menu items as per recipe for daily par levels and to order items
3. Plate and assemble all brunch and lunch items according to company plating and packaging standards
4. Courteous, friendly delivery of brunch and lunch menu items to customer tables or pick-up area within the standard delivery window
5. Clean as you go in the work space including washing dishes, countertops, ovens/microwave, floors, sink, and bread slicer
6. Follows established Food safety protocols particularly safe handling and stock rotation
7. Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment; sweep and mop floors
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Minimum 1 year experience as a prep cook or kitchen helper
2. Experienced with basic kitchen equipment and tools
3. Ability to work flexible hours, weekdays and weekends
4. Food Safe Certificate
