Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Prep Cook to join our team at Simply Biscotti. In this role, you will play a vital part in meal preparation and food handling, ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. Your contributions will help us maintain our high standards of quality and service.

Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble sandwiches and other menu items accurately and efficiently. Follow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistency and quality. Assist in preparing and packaging catering orders according to customer specifications. Chop vegetables, slice meats, prepare sauces, and handle other kitchen prep work. Maintain a clean and organized prep station and adhere to food safety regulations. Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or issues to kitchen management. Assist with receiving and storing deliveries as needed. Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to meet service goals.

Requirements

1+ year of experience in a kitchen or food prep role. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices. Punctual, dependable, and a team player. Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and early morning shifts as required.
