Job Summary:
The Prep Cook plays a key role in preparing ingredients for large-scale sauce production. This includes accurate measuring, cleaning, and organizing ingredients, while ensuring all hygiene and safety standards are followed.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, clean, and portion raw ingredients for daily production
Assist in measuring and scaling ingredients according to recipes
Wash, peel, cut, and handle vegetables, spices, and other components
Maintain a clean and organized prep station and work area
Label, store, and rotate ingredients properly
Follow all sanitation, hygiene, and safety protocols
Support the production team with various prep and general tasks as needed
Requirements:
Experience in food prep or kitchen work is an asset
Comfortable working in a fast-paced food production environment
Ability to follow detailed instructions and recipes
Strong attention to cleanliness and safety
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Team-oriented with good communication skills

Responsabilites principales :
Preparer, nettoyer et portionner les ingredients bruts pour la production quotidienne
Aider a mesurer et peser les ingredients selon les recettes
Laver, eplucher, couper et manipuler les legumes, les epices et autres composants
Maintenir un poste de travail propre et bien organise
Etiqueter, stocker et faire la rotation des ingredients correctement
Suivre tous les protocoles de salubrite, d'hygiene et de securite
Soutenir l'equipe de production dans diverses taches de preparation et taches generales au besoin
Exigences :
Experience en preparation alimentaire ou en cuisine est un atout
A l'aise dans un environnement de production alimentaire rapide
Capacite a suivre des instructions et recettes detaillees
Grand souci de la proprete et de la securite
Capacite a soulever jusqu'a 50 lb et a rester debout pendant de longues periodes
Bon esprit d'equipe et bonnes competences en communication
