Duties

Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring. Follow recipes and instructions from chefs to ensure consistency in food quality. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and prep areas. Adhere to food safety standards and proper handling techniques at all times. Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages. Support the cooking staff during busy service periods by preparing additional items as needed. Participate in daily kitchen clean-up duties to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food industry or kitchen environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Willingness to learn new cooking techniques and expand culinary knowledge. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 44 per week
