We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in the kitchen by assisting with meal preparation and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of ingredients for meals, including washing, chopping, and measuring.
Follow recipes and instructions from chefs to ensure consistency in food quality.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and prep areas.
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines while handling food.
Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of shortages.
Support the cooking staff during service by preparing items as needed.
Participate in daily cleaning tasks to uphold kitchen hygiene standards.
Experience
Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
Basic knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen.
