We are a growing manufacturing business with BIG customers. For the past 35 years we have been supplying mission critical components to trusted partners in various industries that put quality first (Medical, aerospace, defense). We have a variety of CNC lathes and custom-built manufacturing equipment that produce high quality, high quantity components with intricate levels of detail. Our customers entrust us to provide them with the repeatable solutions to help ensure their products and production lines never fail.

Entry level and experienced positions available for precision assembly technicians. This position will have the responsibility to ensure that finished product is assembled to drawing specifications.

The new plant in Foxboro, Ontario has room for you to grow your skills and learn the interesting world of manufacturing, machining and quality products built here in Canada. We employ licensed machinists, CNC programmers, detailing technicians, quality control lab personnel and other support staff throughout the facility.

JOB ACTIVITIES

Fit and assemble components and machine parts to tight tolerance's Operation of assembly equipment Handle and measure delicate product Confirm quality with precision instruments Record and track measurements using charts and documentation Other duties as required by supervisor

SKILLS REQUIRED

Team orientated and dependable with reliable transportation Be able to stand, walk, bend and lift 30 lbs Good housekeeping and organizational skills Keen attention to detail Dexterity to work with fine/detailed equipment and product Enjoys learning and being challenged Experience with micrometers, vernier calipers, magnification inspection and other measuring instruments is an asset Experience reading blueprints and drawings is an asset

EDUCATION REQUIRED

Basic math and science knowledge Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment working with machining equipment or assembly equipment is an asset Grade 12 or equivalent and any post secondary school training in manufacturing, metalworking, machining, tool and die, drafting or similar is an asset Hobbies that include attention to detail and fine dexterity is an asset.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
