Intlvac Thin Film is a leader in designing, engineering, and manufacturing advanced machinery for plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) physical vapor deposition (PVD), and outer space simulation.

Position Summary

As a Precision Mechanical Technician, you'll play a crucial role in the fabrication, assembly and troubleshooting of vacuum systems.

Key Responsibilities

Precise fabrication and assembly of advanced vacuum systems and components Maintain HV and UHV clean condition assembling procedures Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues with vacuum systems, ensuring optimal performance Operating a wide range of tools, including manual and power tools, lathes, and end mills, to craft and maintain complex machinery.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of hands-on mechanical experience. Relevant education in mechanical technology an asset. Expertise in handling intricate mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components. A deep understanding of mechanical systems integration and control processes. Proficient in reading and interpreting complex schematics and blueprints with ease. Exceptional problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail for resolving technical challenges efficiently. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborative project work. Proficiency in a variety of fabrication techniques and a commitment to safety standards in the workplace. Strong analytical skills in order to identify and address complex technical issues efficiently in troubleshooting and repairing advanced machinery with integrated technologies. Physical stamina for hands-on tasks, including extended work hours when necessary. Adaptability to various work environments and a proactive approach to learning new technologies is essential in a dynamic industrial setting.
