RMA ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN



Job Purpose:

Work as RMA team member to disassemble and reassemble batteries modules, busbars, contactors, wire harness assembly, and PCA Using a variety of tools to manufacture and test electro-mechanical products. Need to pay attention to detail when carrying out tasks to ensure all systems are built exactly to specifications, quality and schedule required
Duties & Responsibilities:

Assemble and test electro-mechanical products/systems to specifications in accordance with procedures, instructions and quality standards, prior to being shipped to the customer Attention to detail to follow directions, instructions, procedures and documentation thoroughly Ability to work quickly and efficiently while performing repetitive tasks Work with precision assemblies of electrical and mechanical components Using various tools with the use of manual dexterity, fine motor control and strong hand-eye coordination Conduct quality assurance on electrical and mechanical procedures in RMA and document and notify the findings Assist in developing and improving production procedures in RMA Conduct work measurement or other studies Collect and compile operational or experimental data to assist in the development of estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports Always adhere to established safe working procedures, quality standards and Health & Safety standards, and wear the safety equipment Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized workspace Be part of a team and contribute to flow of work in the department efficiently and effectively Team player with a positive attitude, consideration for others, and help foster a positive and inclusive work environment Work independently, with the ability to be self-motivated Able to adapt to different pace of work, schedule and change of tasks Participating in continual training and development Other duties as assigned by your RMA Team Leader Prior Lithium Batteries assembling experiences would be an asset Knowledge of Electronics/Electrical would be an asset Ability to lift to 30 LBS

Experience, Skills, & Competencies



2 or 3 year certificate from a technical college in Electrical/Electronic or Electromechanical engineering program Experience in electrical test equipment use, maintenance, and calibration that includes multimeters, oscilloscope, Must be practical, hands-on and able to use basic hand tools (for example, soldering, crimping, electric drills, etc). Manage multiple tasks under minimal supervision while working in a team Adaptable to work in a dynamic environment where priorities are subjected to change regularly Great verbal communication and teamwork skills Must be able to follow detailed work instructions Exceptional customer service orientation
