Fireproof Worship Centre

is a dynamic Afro-Caribbean Pentecostal church located in the heart of Etobicoke. We are a Spirit-filled, multicultural congregation passionate about vibrant praise, deep worship, and the transforming power of the Holy Spirit. Our worship is expressive, joyful, and rooted in both Caribbean gospel traditions and contemporary Pentecostal worship.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and anointed_

Praise and Worship Leader

_ to lead our congregation into powerful encounters with God through music and worship. The ideal candidate will be musically gifted, spiritually mature, and culturally attuned to Afro-Caribbean worship expressions.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate worship during Sunday services, and special events.

Select and arrange music that reflects our Pentecostal identity.

Recruit, train, and mentor vocalists and lead weekly rehearsals.

Collaborate with pastoral leadership to plan Spirit-led worship experiences.

Encourage a lifestyle of worship among team members and the congregation.

Qualifications:

A personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

Experience leading worship in a Pentecostal or charismatic church setting.

Strong vocal ability and proficiency in at least one instrument (keyboard, guitar, etc.).

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to work with a diverse team and congregation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Background in music ministry or worship arts.

Experience with worship planning tools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Schedule:

Day shift Weekends as needed
Willingness to travel:

25% (preferred)
