  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement marketing and communications strategies aligned with business area/division marketing and sales strategy and budget. \xe2\x80\xa2 Marketing Action Plans: Manage action plans to support local division growth ambitions and strategy. \xe2\x80\xa2 Content Management: Create and manage content for different stages of the buying funnel (awareness, consideration, intent to purchase), including internal articles, customer success stories, case studies, presentations, scripts, podcasts, and market collateral. \xe2\x80\xa2 Lead and Nurturing Campaigns: Partner with the local sales team to execute lead and nurturing campaigns, events, and tradeshows. \xe2\x80\xa2 External Thought Leadership: Collaborate on an effective thought leadership and social media strategy to elevate the position of Distribution Solutions locally. \xe2\x80\xa2 Editorial Calendar Management: Lead the local external customer communications editorial calendar and content strategy. \xe2\x80\xa2 Market Analysis and Strategy: Underdtands strategic segments and business opportunities, define strategy/business plans, and coordinate with relevant teams. \xe2\x80\xa2 Quality Metrics and Compliance: Define quality metrics for marketing initiatives, review and evaluate results, and ensure compliance with ABB\xe2\x80\x99s core values and standards. \xe2\x80\xa2 Collaboration and Leadership: Collaborate with stakeholders for competitor analyses, coach and develop the marketing team, and drive knowledge sharing and cross-collaboration.
Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, PR, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in communications and marketing positions.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with experience in lead and nurturing campaigns.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools.
  • Highly collaborative leader capable of leading in a matrixed organization.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
  • Excellent analytical, time-management, and project management skills.
  • Experience working in a multinational organization.
