Position Summary
Power Platform Administrator is primarily responsible for the administration, configuration and maintenance of Microsoft Power Platform Suite including Power Apps, Power Automate and Power Virtual Agents. This role will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Power Platform environment. The candidate will be a part of the Global Data Service and Platforms.
Duties and responsibilities

  • Administer and manage the Microsoft Power Platform suite, including Power Apps, Power Automate and Power Virtual Agents.
  • Configure and maintain environments, environment security, on-premise data gateway and data loss prevention policies within the Power Platform.
  • Monitor the performance and health of Power Platform environments & Solutions, troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis and coordinate platform-related issues with Microsoft.
  • Implement and enforce the Power Platform environment\xe2\x80\x99s governance policies, best practices and security standards.
  • Manage user roles, permissions and licenses for Power Platform applications.
  • Install, upgrade and configure and manage Power Platform Center of Excellence Toolkit and augment the CoE Starter Kit with updated policies for environment creation, requirements for premium connectors, admin notifications etc.
  • Setup alerts & notifications for critical events & system anomalies.
  • Setup, Build and create deployment pipelines using Devops CI/CD best practices for Power Platform deployments.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly and yearly house keeping activities to clean up environments, orphaned objects inside Power Platform.
  • Create and maintain documentation for the environments and solutions.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and developers to troubleshoot issues.
  • Stay up to date with the latest features, updates and enhancements in the Power Platform and provide recommendations for improvements and optimizations.
  • Work closely with Citizen developers and Power users to guide on best practices and also to educate and empower them to leverage the Power Platform effectively.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills and must possess exceptional ability to work well with individuals and teams at all levels.

Qualifications
Education
Bachelor or Masters in Computer Science, Information Management, Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
Work Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Power Platform Admin or similar role.
Technical knowledge, Abilities, and skills
Strong proficiency in administering and configuring the Microsoft Power Platform Suite and its licensing model, including Power Apps, Power Automate and Power Virtual Agents. In-depth knowledge of Power Platform security, environment management and data loss prevention. Experience in designing and developing Power Apps solutions to meet business requirements. Proficiency in creating and managing Power Automate workflows and automating business processes. Solid troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve issues within the Power Platform environment. Familiarity with integrating Power Platform solutions with other systems and applications. Excellent communications skills and ability to analyze complex requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Relevant Microsoft certifications such as Power Platform Administrator Associate or equivalent are preferred. Nice to have experience with Power BI but not mandatory.
