• Translate business requirements into specifications that will be used to drive data store/data warehouse/ data mart design and configuration
• Data preparation, data gateway and data warehousing projects.
• Utilizing Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack through Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS.
• Transition developed BI solutions to Business Stakeholders
• Provide support as required to ensure the availability and performance of enterprise data
• Power BI development and administration.
• Connecting to data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business Intelligence.
• Building Analysis Services reporting models.
• Responsible for design methodology and project documentation.
• Developing visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop.
• Ensure proper configuration management and change controls are implemented for your sphere of influence
• Provide technical assistance and cross training to other team members
• Design and implement technology best practices, guidelines, and repeatable processes
• Must be able to perform duties with moderate to low supervision
• Should be familiar and experienced in Advanced level SQL development.
• Excellent in analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports.
• Able to implement row level security on data and understand application security layer models in Power BI.
• Proficient in making DAX & MDX queries.
• Expertise in using advance level calculations on the data set.
• Able to develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with warehouse standards.
• Adept in developing, publishing, and scheduling Power BI reports as per the business requirements.
• Able to properly understand the business requirements and develop data models accordingly by taking care of the resources.
• Should have knowledge and experience in prototyping, designing, and requirement analysis.
• 4+ years of experience of with Power BI
• Experience in Data Modeling
