Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Counter Help team member to join our fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering excellent customer service, possess strong food handling skills, and be able to manage multiple tasks effectively. YOU MUST HAVE RELIABLE SOURCE OF TRANSPORTATION OR OWN A VEHICLE AND MUST BE ABLE TO STAND IN A VERY COLD TEMPERATURE.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist with their orders in a courteous manner Prepare and assemble food items according to established standards and safety guidelines Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling Manage cash register transactions accurately, including handling cash, credit cards, and upselling additional items Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas in compliance with food safety regulations Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions or concerns promptly Support team members during busy periods to ensure efficient service delivery

Experience

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus Knowledge of food preparation, serving, and basic math skills for cash handling and transactions Experience with food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry Strong time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently Ability to upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$20.96 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week
