Post-Secondary & Advanced Skills Coordinator
to help empower the future of our community through education and training!
As KFN progresses toward self-governance under Treaty, we are shaping an education framework that supports lifelong learning and self-sufficiency. If you're an organized, relationship-focused professional who thrives on making a meaningful difference, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do:
Champion Education and Training for KFN Members!
Support members in pursuing post-secondary education and workforce training.
Help applicants navigate educational opportunities and financial assistance.
Coordinate skills training that boosts employment and career growth.
Partner with institutions and organizations to expand learning options.
In collaboration with the Education Manager, manage budgets, track success, and promote scholarships and resources.
What You'll Bring:
A degree or diploma in Education, Business Admin, Counselling, or similar
3+ years of experience in administration or coordination (equivalent experience considered)
Knowledge of Indigenous communities and experience working with youth/adults
Top-notch communication, organization, and multitasking skills
Tech-savviness with Microsoft Office (and a creative eye for Canva/social media is a plus!)
A valid BC Driver's License and access to reliable transportation
