About Our Opportunity
The Legislation and Policy team plays a key role in modernizing legislation and policy frameworks to meet the needs of Nova Scotia consumers and businesses. Reporting to the Director of Legislation and Policy, the Policy and Research Analyst (PRA) is responsible for providing comprehensive policy formulation, implementation, and research services in support of Service Nova Scotia\'s (SNS\'s) legislative, regulatory, and program mandates. The PRA is also responsible for drafting, reviewing, and presenting Advice and submissions to Executive Council and its committees; advising senior leadership (Associate Deputy Minister, Deputy Minister, Minister) on relevant issues affecting consumers and businesses; and working with internal and external parties to achieve government\'s regulatory modernization objectives.
