An additional 10.75% Job Family Market Multiplier will be added to the posted salary.

About the Job:
The Policy Analyst (Analyst) plays a key role in supporting the development of the BCER's regulatory initiatives and supporting best practices in engaging government, stakeholders, First Nations, and BCER staff to inform and build strong BCER policy to implement government legislation and regulatory change into the BCER framework. The role includes building relationships to facilitate the policy analysis needed for mandate expansion, improving efficiencies in the BCER framework including decision point optimization and continuous improvement to an optimal single-window delivery regulatory model. The Analyst researches policy issues impacting BCER programs and services and provides background information, data analyses, policy evaluations and recommendations to strengthen the current regulations and aid in the adoption of future changes. This includes the analyses and design of government policies and regulations that impact the BCER and identifying opportunities, gaps, and risks in relation to the BCER's delivery of the mandate and single-window model. The Analyst supports the effective and efficient implementation of the BCER's legislative and regulatory initiatives, identifying risks and ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
