Detailed : As the PMO Manager, you will be responsible for:
  • Developing and implementing project management processes and methodologies aligned with industry best practices and project requirements.
  • Leading and mentoring project teams, ensuring successful project outcomes and stakeholder engagement.
  • Creating and maintaining project management tools, templates, and resources to facilitate efficient project execution.
  • Managing project plans, action items, and milestone timelines for assigned projects, while overseeing budgets and resource allocation.
  • Facilitating project team meetings and maintaining effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitoring project progress and reporting through various channels, identifying risks, and recommending mitigation strategies.
  • Cultivating relationships with stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and project partners.
  • Mentoring project management team members and maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of project lifecycles and portfolio.
Candidate\'s Profile: To excel in this role, you should possess:
  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • International mindset with an interest in global work and diverse teams.
  • A Bachelor\'s Degree in Engineering (production, mechanical, or chemical), Business, or related fields, or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • 7+ years of PMO experience, including 3+ years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience with large multinational firms and exposure to start-ups or mergers/acquisitions.
  • Project Management certification is highly desirable, along with proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication, and the ability to motivate and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Budgeting and financial management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and maintain quality.
  • An international mindset, willingness to travel occasionally within Ontario and internationally (~10%).
  • Flexibility with work hours to accommodate time zone differences and potential overtime when required.
