We are seeking experienced and reliable

Plumbing Foreman

to work, oversee and coordinate plumbing installations on commercial and select residential construction projects. This role involves working on and supervising plumbing installations while ensuring all work is performed to project specifications, in compliance with national plumbing code, provincial and local regulations, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise, lead, and coordinate daily activities of plumbing crews. Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans to determine layout and materials needed. Plan, schedule, and assign tasks to plumbers and apprentices. Ensure plumbing installations meet The Canadian Building Code, Canadian Plumbing Code and the requirements of the local authority having jurisdiction. Inspect work progress, materials, and workmanship to ensure quality and compliance. Liaise with inter office staff, project managers, site foremen, other trades, and inspectors to maintain project timelines. manage inventory of plumbing materials and tools. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed on-site at all times. Mentor and support apprentices and junior plumbers in their development. Troubleshoot issues and propose practical and cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications:

Red Seal Certification as a Journeyperson Plumber (required). Minimum 5 years of experience in the plumbing trade, including 2+ years in a supervisory role. Valid Class 5 driver's licence (clean abstract preferred). Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, installation practices, and local codes. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings. Proficient in organizing workloads and managing priorities. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with workplace health and safety regulations (e.g., WorkSafeNB).

Working Conditions:

May involve work in varied weather conditions. Ability to travel and live away for 'out of town' work isa must Travel between job sites within New Brunswick is required.
Physical demands include standing, lifting, climbing, and working in confined space
