Job Overview


As a PLC Programmer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems within a defined scope. You will work closely with our engineering and production teams to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes, which will include onsite startup / commissioning at customer facilities, travelling to various sites in Canada. This role requires expertise in Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC software, and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).

Responsibilities



Design, develop, and program control systems using Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs. Implement and configure VFDs for various applications. Integrate and troubleshoot control systems to enhance production efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve automation issues. Develop and maintain detailed documentation of control systems and processes. Provide onsite technical support and training to maintenance and production staff. Ensure compliance with industry standards and

Skills



Technologist or Engineering Degree with a focus on Industrrial Automation. Minimum of 10 years of experience in control systems engineering within the Food and Beverage industries, Oil and Gas, and Water/Wastewater systems. Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs such as adder logic, function block, structure text and sequential function charts. Strong knowledge of VFDs and their applications in industrial settings. Knowledgeable in networking and server systems. Strong skill set within Microsoft Office 365, Windows Server and Windows 11. Knowledgeable in networking and server systems. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications in Allen Bradley and Siemens control systems. Experience with other automation technologies and software (e.g., SCADA, HMI).
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
