The Role of Platform Solutions Owner - Salesforce

An exciting opportunity has opened to join a high-growth organization and become a member of the Salesforce team. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Platform Solution Owner who will understand the goals and objectives of products within the Peninsula Group and will help devise effective solutions that are in line with the strategic aims of individual departments and the wider Peninsula Group.

Day-to-Day Duties and Responsibilities

• Analysis, design and development of new features in Salesforce, including but not limited to new Apex, LWC, Triggers, Classes, Validation Rules, and Layouts.
• Design, development and maintenance of complex integrations between Salesforce and external business systems.
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem including but not limited to: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud custom components and various AppExchange packages.
• Guide the delivery team when scoping and delivering Salesforce solutions to meet business needs using Salesforce best practices.
• Prepare documentation on use cases, current/proposed process, workflows, data flows, process re-engineering studies, functional specifications, and risk implementation plans.
• Evaluate trade-offs with technology and feasibility and make choices that fit the constraints of the project and platform.
• Communicate concepts, architectures, solution approach options and evaluations through effective diagrams and documentation.
• Complete fit gap analysis of functional requirements against platform features and functionality with both current state and desired future state.

What you Bring to the Team

• Strong SQL query skills and expertise in data manipulation techniques.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in Salesforce delivery management, business analysis and technical implementation.
• Relevant industry certifications, ideally in Salesforce or Architect certified.
• Salesforce (SFDC) lightning experience with configurations and APEX development, with strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture frameworks, best practices and business processes.
• Strong experience with configuration, customization, programming with VisualForce, Triggers, batch processes and LWC.
• Optimization and integration experience with SOAP, REST, outbound message/event handling.
