Plate Roll Operator

Job Description
Responsible for operating machinery to bend and form steel and other metal materials according to specifications and drawings. Ensures high-quality workmanship, accuracy, and adherence to safety and production standards in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate rolling machines to
form and roll steel plates and metal materials
to required dimensions.Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
to determine job specifications. Set up and adjust machinery as needed for each production run. Performlayout and marking of dimensions
on plates and materials. Conductpre-start inspections
and maintain equipment in proper working condition. Safelyoperate lifting devices
and assist with material handling when required. Maintain aclean and organized work area
, ensuring all safety protocols are followed. Complete allrequired production paperwork
accurately and on time. Performmachine cleaning and maintenance
, including roll setup and adjustments. Operate beveling machines as needed. Report anysafety hazards or equipment issues
to the supervisor or safety committee. Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisors.Working Conditions:
Work is performed in a
plant/manufacturing environment
where temperatures vary with the seasons. Conditions may occasionally benoisy or dusty

is supplied and required at all times. Standard work hours:7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
