Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plastic Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of all equipment and machinery within our facility. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. The Equipment Maintenance Technician will work closely with other maintenance staff to maintain a safe and productive work environment.

Duties

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of equipment and machinery. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities and inventory. Troubleshoot electrical systems, including logic controllers, to identify faults and implement solutions. Fabricate and weld components as necessary to ensure equipment functionality. Read and interpret schematics to understand equipment layouts and operational procedures. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standards. Work in different departments as per management requirements Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used.

Experience

Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred. Strong mechanical/electrical knowledge with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment. Familiarity with electrical systems, including the ability to work with logic controllers. Experience in welding and fabrication techniques is a plus. Ability to read schematics and technical manuals effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for collaboration within the team.

Pay: $28.00-$31.00 per hour
