In short, we treat all employees as family and we respect that each team member, regardless of his or her function or title, is equally important to the company.JOB PURPOSE:As a Maintenance Technician in our manufacturing plant, your primary responsibility is to ensure the uninterrupted operation of machinery and equipment essential for production processes. You will play a pivotal role in the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of various mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, guaranteeing their optimal performance and longevity.DUTIES:

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and address them proactively, minimizing downtime.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems efficiently, employing a systematic approach to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Execute repairs and replacements of faulty components, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
• Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities strategically, coordinating shutdowns or equipment downtime to minimize disruption to operations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment manuals, and inventory levels, to facilitate efficient planning and resource management.
• Perform maintenance and repairs of building and facilities at two locations.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, demonstrating flexibility and readiness to address critical issues that may arise during production.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Basic mathematical skills.
• Must have a valid drivers license.
• Ability to handle heavy loads.
• Must be willing to shovel snow and work outside during the winter.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing equipment an asset.
• Forklift Operator certification an asset.
• Ability to operate all machines relating to the job.
