Location: 671 Lahave St, Bridgewater, NS; and various locations around the South Shore for plant procurement as needed. Position type: Permanent Full-time April 1st to end of November, part-time as needed from January \xe2\x80\x93 End of March. Compensation & Materials Provided by HNH: - $18-$20/ hour - Eligible for extended health benefits (paid by employee) after graduation from 3-month probation. Helping Nature Heal Inc. will pay 25% of benefits cost after one year of employment, and 50% of benefits after two years of employment, ongoing. - Company uniform \xe2\x80\x93 tank tops, t-shirts, long sleeved shirts, hoodies, and hats. - Professional Development Training approved on a case-by-case basis. - Access to company computers as needed for work. - Gas Card for travel/errands - Car Repairs (due to work miles, if needed) - Food allowance (for coffees, lunches out of office, sales meetings) Knowledge & Materials Provided by You: - Proper outdoor personal gear including footwear, work pants, and rain gear. - Have reliable vehicle for plant procurement and be comfortable with using your personal vehicle for work tasks. - Clean drivers record. - Knowledge of native plants, plant propagation, plant care or willingness to learn are mandatory. - Highly organized and have excellent record keeping skills. - Ability to recognize and prioritize time-sensitive tasks over others. Schedule: - Average 30-40 hours per week from the beginning of April to the end of November, yearly. - 20 hours per week from January \xe2\x80\x93 End of March approx. - 9:00am-5:00pm Mondays-Fridays. Some work may be required for team projects according to the team schedule, including early morning and occasional evening work. Major Responsibilities of Professional Buyer: - To know and understand dealers within the area. - Dress business casual - Office errands - Embody the core values of HNH in all work that you do with the company. - Provide cheerful, knowledgeable, and consistent vendor and customer relations including providing addressing questions and concerns, and on-site product recommendations. - Promote all services provided by HNH to store customers and ensuring that customers have a positive, caring experience every time. - Communicate proactively and clearly with HNH President regarding concerns, needs, and ideas for the facility and vendor relations. - Ensure that the facility areas are kept consistently clean, organized, and well stocked. - Use and maintain cash register/float and debit/credit machine to process customer orders. - 2-hour radius around Bridgewater Job Type: Full-time Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour Benefits:
