Reporting to the CFO, the Plant Controller is responsible for managing the financial operations of a manufacturing plant. This includes overseeing accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis. The role is pivotal in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and strategic guidance to leadership team.

Your main responsibilities:

Financial Management: Leading all financial control activities of the plant, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment with corporate objectives. Team Supervision: Directly supervise three team members within the finance department, ensuring effective task delegation, development, and alignment with departmental goals.Promote cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing. Budgeting: Lead and prepare the financial and capital budgeting processes. Monitor budgets and provide actionable insights to management to support strategic decision-making. Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial performance, and variance analysis. Cost Control: Support the cost accounting framework tailored to the plant's operational structure and reporting needs. Implement and support programs to improve productivity, increase efficiencies, and reduce costs. Conduct regular cost reviews and identify opportunities for savings across operations, procurement, and logistics. Compliance: Liaise with external auditors and ensure compliance with tax and accounting regulations. Maintain internal controls and ensure adherence to corporate policies and industry standards. Operational Support: Partner with plant leadership to evaluate financial impact of operational decisions. Provide financial guidance for capital investments, process improvements, and strategic initiatives.

What we are looking for:

Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA designation. 5 to 8 years in manufacturing finance with 1 to 3 years in a supervisory role. Strong understanding of GAAP and cost accounting principles. Proficiency In ERP systems (Oracle) and Microsoft Excel. Ability to lead a team and work collaboratively across departments. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
