Description and Requirements
The IDG WW Marketing team is presently hiring a Planning & Strategy Lead within the IDG Marketing Operations organization.
Lenovo is looking for an experienced Marketing Operations leader to drive the end-to-end strategy and planning process. The ideal candidate will have extensive strategy and operations experience, excellent communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate is responsible for developing and delivering a global marketing management system (BMS) that will ensure IDG marketing investments are aligned to support both global strategic priorities and geo defined critical initiatives. Through the BMS we will ensure that marketing plans are well defined (including strategy, goals, objectives, and performance targets) and that we are maximizing the use of our non-working dollars through efficient execution of our global marketing initiatives. This leader will manage a series of reviews and interlocks to ensure we have shared visibility to all global and geo IDG marketing plans and that the plans are reviewed and approved prior to execution. In addition, performance reviews will be conducted each quarter for best practice sharing and alignment to performance management principles. The review process will also include Creative Reviews, Sponsorship Reviews, and Event / PR Comms reviews to ensure that marketing investments are being managed in a coordinated and cohesive way aligned to an overall strategy.
