The GO Expansion scope : new electric locomotives, fleet upgrades, train control systems, network electrification, signalling, telecommunications and digital systems, maintenance, and much more.

Purpose of the Job

Member of the Project Core Team, the Project Scheduler manages the project schedule according to Sub-System and Work Package breakdown.

Objectives

  • Ensure convergence between BIM Assets identification and time-schedule activities
  • Integrate P6 and BIM through Synchro 4D
  • Provide visual simulation of the time-schedule
  • Coordinate the works with the partners
  • Propose scenarios and solutions to optimize the construction process, through internal expertise available
Responsibilities
  • Implement the Time-Schedule on BIM 4D.
  • Ensure the schedule breakdown by Work Packages according to project scope.
  • Define with the Project Manager and Project Team the major milestones by Work Package for the entire project scope and timeline.
  • Inform the Project Manager and the Project Team as soon as possible of any significant drift.
  • Verify and analyse, if necessary, the relevance of the planning and scheduling of the lower levels.
  • Guarantee the accuracy of the information that is received and, if necessary, instigate the investigations if required.
  • Update, consolidate, validate and record the Project Baseline Schedule with all the parties actively involved.
  • Collect, update and consolidate the physical progress follow-up for the project.
  • Propose and coordinate the corrective actions for reducing risks of delay, maintaining floats, and improving time control.
  • Write the periodic progress report(s) in accordance with the Project Time Management Plan.
  • Provide expertise and support in area to project Sub System Managers and Work Package Owners
Educational Requirements

Mandatory: Bachelor's Degree

Experience

Mandatory:
  • 2-3 years of experience of professional experience
Desirable:
  • Knowledge and background in information technology and software applications
  • Reporting and data analytics

  • Basic knowledge of offered products and systems
  • High communication skills, reporting capabilities
