Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pizza Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious pizzas and other menu items, ensuring high-quality food service, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. Duties

Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping ingredients, assembling pizzas, and portioning toppings Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, and knives Ensure all food handling practices meet safety and sanitation standards Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and proper storage of ingredients Assist in meal preparation for other menu items as needed Serve customers at the counter or in the dining area when required Follow food safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure quality standards are met

Requirements

Previous experience in pizza store, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols Strong understanding of food handling procedures and sanitation standards Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent serving skills with a friendly attitude towards customers Experience with meal preparation and food industry best practices is a plus Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting ingredients or equipment as needed Must have own vehicle

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $15.50-$17.00 per hour
