Job Description
We are currently hiring for Journeyperson & Apprentice Pipefitters
PFP is an Island Owned Company opperating out of Nanaimo, BC. The majority of our work is local (North Nanaimo to Duncan), with occasional travel to the mainland of BC and Alberta.
Responsibilities and Duties: Read and interpret blueprints, Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble and install metal, plastic and fiberglass valves, pipes, fittings, Join pipe sections and secure in position, Use test equipment to check systems for leaks, Install supports, valves, piping and control systems, Complete tasks in line with PFP and industry standards, procedures and practices.
Requirements: Journeyperson/Apprentice Pipefitter Certification/Ticket (Apprentice rate will differ depening on level and experience)
Previous experience working in an industrial setting and valid safety tickets an asset.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: From $46.68 per hour
