Job duties of a Pipefitter include using hand tools to machine, site and assemble various pipe and tubing products, including elbows, tees, flanges, valves and caps. Other responsibilities include fabrication and installation of products according to blueprints and dimensions specified by a pipe layout. Pipefitting is performed in a confined space in a standing position so it\'s important that our candidates are physically capable of lifting 50 plus pounds on a regular basis and working in tight spaces. Responsibilities:
- Work on projects requiring the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery.
- Be able to bend, cut, and shape metal pipes.
- Know how to use plumbing equipment.
- Work with pipes and steam lines.
- Cut metal bars to specified length.
- Knowledge of tools and techniques used in the construction industry.
